Zaltbommel, the Netherlands – November 16, 2013: The arrival of Sinterklaas in the city of Zaltbommel. Sinterklaas and Zwarte Pieten walking in the streets of Zaltbommel. On the picture Sinterklaas has just arrived by boat from Spain, together with his helpers called Black Petes. Sinterklaas is a winter holiday figure, it’s believed that Sinterklaas brings children presents in the evening of the fifth of December. The arrival of Sinterklaas is always somewhere mid november and also celebrated in many places throughout the country.
