Take The Kids To See Mickey Mouse This Spring

Mickey Mouse loves service members and he is showing it by offering a Military Room Only discount at select Walt Disney World Resorts through October 1, 2012. He is also offering an unlimited number of Armed Forces Salute theme park tickets to military members through this date. With military discounts for airline tickets, a Disney hotel stay, and theme park entry, military families save big bucks.

Service members should have no problem finding a military discount airline ticket to Orlando, Florida. Active and retired military members and activated reservists can then save up to 40 percent when they book rooms at certain Walt Disney World resorts. Rates vary by resort and a minimum stay may be required.

The Armed Forces Salute prices have remained the same since October 2010, allowing military travelers to lock in their savings. Though only six tickets can be purchased simultaneously, eligible military members can purchase an unlimited number of discounted tickets through October 1, 2012. Ticket prices start at just $138 for a Walt Disney World 4-Day Military Salute Ticket with either a Park Hopper or Water Park Fun and More option. Adding both options increases the ticket price to $165 each.

Sales tax is added to tickets purchased at Walt Disney World ticket windows. Military travelers can eliminate this tax by buying their tickets on base or at a Shades of Green resort. Blackout dates may apply, tickets are not transferable, these tickets do expire, and the No Expiration option may not be added.

Military discount airline tickets and theme park tickets are also available to Disneyland theme parks in California. Three-day tickets to the two parks are available for just $99.
